Pastor René Parish is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and the Lead Pastor at Beacon Hill Assembly of God since 1997. She has a passion to see lives transformed through the power of God. She desires to merge an understanding of the Bible – God’s Word – with the outward working of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Christ’s followers today.
Pastor René received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a major in Old Testament Studies and a minor in New Testament Studies. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
Pastor René served two terms (January 2004-January 2008) as presbyter of the Riverside Section of the Southern California District Council of the Assemblies of God. She was re-elected as presbyter in August 2008 and then again in January 2010. She was the first woman in Southern California to be elected to serve as a presbyter of a geographic section. René has also served as the president of SoCal Women in Ministry, a ministry organization for professional women clergy in the Southern California District Council of the Assemblies of God, from 1995 through 2009. Pastor René has been married to Kris Parish for over 30 years. They are the proud parents of two adult children.
Pol Arciaga studied Pastoral Ministry at Bethel Bible College in Valenzuela City, Philippines. His pastoral ministry experience includes youth pastor, church planter and staff pastor. Pol is a compassionate minister of the Gospel, he excels in the teaching of the Word of God and he is a passionate intercessory prayer warrior. Pol has attended Beacon Hill Assembly of God since 2002 and has been the Minister of Pastoral Care since June of 2012. Pol is married to Beth. Pol and Beth are the proud parents of three children.
Samuela Etuarte Tuihalamaka was born in Neiafu Vavau, Tonga. He immigrated to the United States in 1983 with his wife Lupe and their children. Pastor Sam was born again in 1992 and was called into the ministry in 1994. He immediately began to attend the Asia Pacific Bible School in Southern California graduating with two diplomas, one in Christian Education and the other in Pastoral Ministry (silver medalist). Pastor Sam has been involved in pastoral ministry for twenty years. He has five children and 18 grandchildren. Pastor Sam brought his Tongan Fellowship under the ministry of Beacon Hill Assembly of God in 2009, where the ministry has grown and flourished.
Pastor Daniel Kitheka is married to his sweetheart, Veronica Kitheka and are blessed with three children. He has been educated and trained in Kenya, United Kingdom and USA respectively. Pastor Daniel has served in church ministry as an evangelist, church elder, and a pastor. He is a strong believer in God, “Who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,” Ephesians 3:20; “for not by might nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord Almighty.” Zechariah 4:6 NIV. His great zeal and ministry goal is to reach out to the unchurched and see their lives transformed for Jesus Christ.
Pastor Walter Lima emigrated from Guatemala to the United States in 1979 when he was fourteen years old. He has been in the ministry for more than sixteen years. He has been the director of a Bible Institute in Los Angeles, director of a radio broadcast network in Los Angeles and has served in various pastoral positions. He is married to a wonderful woman of God, Olga, who is from El Salvador. They work together to preach and teach the Word of God.
